Programme aims

The degree programme seeks to preparegraduates for work in the wine sector, with the specific technological andprocessing skills required to meet current market needs. In particular, thetraining covers both the grape-growing segment (vineyard management,cultivation and agronomic techniques, protection and harvesting) and thetransformation process (fermentation, analytical and microbiological testing,storage, ageing and packaging). The degree programme also seeks to provide themarket knowledge needed to adapt production to consumer requirements.

Admission requirements

Admission to the degree programme requirespossession of a five-year secondary school diploma or a foreign diplomarecognised as suitable, or a four-year secondary school diploma and relatedsupplementary year or, if this is no longer available, the assignment ofadditional learning requirements. The places available on this restrictedaccess degree programme are established with reference to the resourcesavailable.
