First Cycle Degree/Bachelor in Economics of Tourism and Cities

Final examination: procedures and deadlines

To graduate, you have to sit a final examination designed to verify that you have reached the education objectives set by the Degree Programme.

The first graduation session will take place in Summer 2027.

The graduation is achieved upon the public discussion of a Final Dissertation, which is needed to assess the learning outcomes of the Degree Programme. The final evaluation is primarily based on the presentation.

The final examination consists on writing a short paper about a pertinent subject to your studies, elaborated in an original way (with or without the guidance of a teacher, who is NOT, however, an official supervisor). The written dissertation mainly serves as preparation for the final presentation.

The work will be discussed publicly during a specific final examination session in front of a Board (at least 3 members, of which 2 professors of the degree programme). The Board will assess your performance, taking into account both the presentation and your academic curriculum.

You have to prepare a presentation (slides) for the discussion, and the Commission may ask you in-depth questions on methods, results, and any developments of your work.
