Rent subsidies

You may apply for:
- A University subsidy of EUR 1,000 to cover the cost of rent, until 30 December. View the requirements to apply.

- A subsidy from the Municipality of Bologna to enter into tenancy agreements at discounted rates or reduce those of existing fixed-rent agreements, until 30 November.
Check if you meet the requirements.

Information for signing the agreement

The Municipality of Bologna has created a new fixed-rent tenancy agreement template specifically targeted at students, which combines the economic advantages of a ‘regular’ 5-year agreement with a shorter – or much shorter – term. Check the latest information

Registering your tenancy agreement is a legal requirement. Read the Guide of Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian Revenue Agency), which presents a range of contract types and explains how and why you should register your tenancy agreement.
