Degree Programme Director and Board: duties and responsibilities.

Director

The Degree Programme Director is elected by the Degree Programme Board among professors and researches of the Degree Programme. The Director, elected for a three-year term, is responsible for the implementation of the Board’s guidelines and oversees relations between Departments and other relevant structures.

The Degree Programme Director appoints a deputy director  to cover for him in the event of temporary unavailability or absence. The Vice Degree Programme Director is prof. Francesco Bellucci.

Degree Programme Board

The Degree Programme Board consists of academic staff responsible for learning activities and three student representatives, elected according to the University Regulations.
The Degree Programme Board suggests to the Departments proposals with regard to teaching planning, review of systems and degree regulations. It also suggests recommendations about organization of  teaching and support activities to the Departments.

In addition, it is responsible for:

  • the establishment of assessment committees;
  • the recognition of University educational credits;
  • the authorization to carry out and recognize learning activities abroad within international mobility programmes (Learning Agreement);
  • the arrangement of schedules and final examination committes.
