Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
You can submit the study plan if you are regularly enrolled (be sure that you paid all due fees, that you submitted the residence permit receipt or card if you are international student and the academic documents needed if you are a holder of an academic title obtained abroad) and if your year of registration envisages the submission of the study plan.
If you plan to graduate by the end of the former academic year (March session), you cannot submit or change your study plan in the current academic year.
For example, if you change your study plan in October 2024 (hence in the a.y. 24/25) you cannot graduate in the final examination sessions of the previous academic year 23/24 (October 2024, December 2024, March 2025).
During the a.y. 24/25 you can submit and amend your study plan in the following period:
from October 1st, 2024 to 31st March, 2025
Following expiry of the deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments may be made.
Please note that if the course you are interested in is offered by a degree with a restricted access, you will not be able to add the course online, but you would have to submit your request through this form, which is to be sent to the Programme Coordinator in the pdf format from your @studio.unibo.it account during the two periods in which the study plan can be submitted:
October 1st - November 30th
March 1st - March 31st
The form will be submitted to both the degree programme Director and the degree programme which offers the course, hence the procedure will take up to several weeks. You will be updated by the Programme Coordinator once your request has been evaluated.
The study plan is filled in and submitted through StudentiOnline. During the period in which the study plan can be submitted online, you can submit it and amend it without limitations. Once the deadline for submission expires, the latest submitted study plan will be considered valid and no more amendments will be accepted. The study plan you submit online is automatically approved and the list of courses can be found in your career.
If you are interested in adding a course in the free choice learning activites section which is not among those listed, but offered by one of the degree programmes of the Sciences area, use the search tool Insegnamento a scelta su VICEPRESIDENZA 20 - Presidenza della Scuola di Scienze sede di Bologna available at the bottom of the page on the online submission platform of the study plan. Search the course you are interested in by code course only. You can also use this search bar to add those courses you did not choose in the discipline groups. Use the search tool Insegnamento a scelta su ATENEO 010 - UNIVERSITA' DI BOLOGNA to add courses offered by degree programme of other areas, which are not with restricted access.
You need to submit your choices related to the Final Examination during the two time periods when it is allowed. If, for any reason, you fail to do so or you need to change your choices related to the Final Examination, you can do so by writing an e-mail to Internship Office at scienze.tirocini@unibo.it. Please note in the e-mail the code and name of the learning activities you need to add and remove. The Internship Office will evaluate your request and update your study plan if needed.
If you are a part-time student you can modify your study plan online. To do so it is necessary to activate the procedure by writing to the Programme Coordinator from your institutional mailbox name.surname@studio.unibo.it
If you want to change your curriculum of study, moving to the one offered in Italian called "Scienze e Gestione delle Natura", you have to submit this form to the Programme Coordinator during the following timeframes:
October 1st - November 30th
March 1st - March 31st
