Final examination: procedures and deadlines

To graduate, you have to sit a final examination designed to verify that you have reached the education objectives set by the Degree Programme.

General information about the final examination

The final examination consists of writing a dissertation on a subject relevant to your studies, developed in an original manner under the guidance of a supervisor. The dissertation will be publicly discussed during a specific final examination session in front of a Board

How to apply

Submit your graduation application on Studenti Online by paying a fee of 32,00 €.

Late applications are subject to an additional fee of €100.00.

A separate application is required for each session. Therefore, if you postpone your graduation to the next session, you must submit a new application and pay the fees again.

Admission Requirements

By the deadline, you must:

  • have completed and registered all the exams in your study plan;
  • have paid all tuition fees;
  • have uploaded your final dissertation in PDF format via Studenti Online (including keywords and abstract);
  • have completed the AlmaLaurea survey via Studenti Online

The Student Administrative Office (Segreteria) will verify your application and contact you if any changes are needed before the final exam.

Graduation sessions and deadlines

Each academic year includes a graduation session with different graduation periods (appelli). For each graduation period, specific deadlines must be met for the submission of the graduation application, the fulfillment of requirements, and the defense of the final dissertation
