Curriculum Climate-KIC

New international Climate-KIC course of the Master's Degree

“Climate change is no longer some far-off problem; it is happening here; it is happening now.” (Barack Obama)

The master in Low Carbon Technologies and Sustainable Chemistry is offering people who are willing to open their minds an interdisciplinary course covering different aspect from the environmental point of view to the chemical aspect giving them the tools needed to asses the problem and the thinking skill to find a solution.

European institute of technology (EIT) Climate-KIC is a knowledge innovation community established and funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) in 2010. Their purpose is to tackle climate change through innovation. They are Europe’s largest public-private partnership with this purpose - a growing pan- European community of diverse organisations united by a commitment to direct the power of creativity and human ingenuity at the climate change challenge.

The climate-KIC curriculum of the master in Low Carbon Technology and Sustainable Chemistry gives to a limited number of students the opportunity of:

- New lessons method and special programs

- Summer school possibilities

- Apply for internship abroad with many countries involved

Employment opportunities can be found not only in the design of renewable-energy and green sources of energy (photovoltaic, electrocatalytic systems, catalysis for renewables, etc.) but also in the design and management of environmental facilities and industrial plants as researcher or expert workers on green chemistry and renewable.
