Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
You can submit the study plan if:
Students enrolled in 2023/2024 can change their study plans in 2024/2025 only if they renew their enrolment in 2024/2025 and pay the related fees. If you enroll in 2024/2025 you cannot graduate in 2023/2024 sessions, but you must graduate in 2024/2025 sessions (i.e. from June-July 2025).
You can present and amend your study plan during the following period:
from 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2025.
The above-mentioned dates apply also to students enrolled in other Degree Programmes.
After these deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments may be made.
If you choose some subjects that belong to Restricted-Access Degree Programmes as electives, these should be approved by the relative Degree Programme Board.
The study plan must be filled in and submitted through StudentiOnline.
The study plan can be presented via Studenti Online by enrolled students who, accessing the website using their University usernames and passwords:
- need to add optional subjects to their plan, choose final examination/internship options;
- need to choose a curriculum;
- need to amend choices made in prior years.
According to the Course Structure Diagram of your Degree Programme you will also need to choose:
- the options related to the final examination;
- elective courses and activities.
After making the desired choices, remember to click on “save” so that your study plan can be presented correctly.
During the two periods in which the study plan can be submitted, you can submit and amend it without limitations. Once the deadline for submission expires, the latest submitted study plan will be considered valid and no more amendments will be accepted. The study plan you submit online is automatically approved and the list of courses can be found in your career.
Remember that you can take an exam, after the end of lectures, only if you have put it in your study plan.
Internship for final examination
Internship for final examination must be entered in the study plan online during the set time frames; if the decision to add/modify the internship activity is made when the online study plan submission is not available, it is possible to enter it at any time of the academic year by sending an email to scienze.tirocini@unibo.it. In the text of the email it is necessary to indicate the code and the full name of the internship to add and activities possibly to delete (if there is a change). The Internship Office verifies the request and, if there are not inconsistencies with the course structure diagram of the degree programme, updates the career in accordance with the Student Admission Office.
After making the desired choices, remember to click on “save” so that your study plan can be presented correctly.
It is also advisable to print a copy of your completed study plan. This copy is in fact the only way to check for formal or substantive errors that might arise after uploading your study plan.
Students who have been “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) for two or more years in cannot use the Studenti Online system and must use the hard-copy forms.
All parts of the form must be completed correctly, signed and sent via e-mail (using your institutional e-mail address name.surname@studio.unibo.it) to: Student Administration Office, segscienze@unibo.it.
If you are interested in choosing some subjects that do not belong to your Degree Programme, firstly you need to be sure that this is possible.
Afterwards, you need to fill in the form that you find in the box "Attachments" and send it in to the Student Administration Office via e-mail (using your institutional e-mail address name.surname@studio.unibo.it) to segscienze@unibo.it.
If you are interested in integrated courses you may only choose the entire integrated course, not just one of its components.
