The location
Lectures and other activities, with the exception of field activities, take place in three buildings located few meters from each other. The entrances are connected by short pedestrian paths that cross a small green area.
The complex is shared by the degree rogrammein Environmental sciences and by the master's degree programmes in Environmental assessment and management and of Marine Biology.
- Classrooms building, via Sant 'Alberto 163: it houses the classrooms for the lessons and the computer lab.
- "Renzo Sartori" Laboratories, via Sant 'Alberto 163: it hosts the research laboratories, the professors offices and an area used as a study room and, during lunchtime, as a cafeteria.
- ITAS, via dell'Agricoltura 5: the building is used for the most part by a secondary school, however some areas are used by the University and host laboratories, offices, library, and a study room / cafeteria. Parking is also available.
Lecture halls
Location: Via Sant'Alberto, 163 - Ravenna. While equipped differently, they all offer the University WIFI system free of charge.
- Lecture Hall 1 - capacity 25 persons + video projector + a permanent workstation with PC + Internet
- Lecture Hall 2 - capacity 25 persons + video projector + a permanent workstation with PC + Internet
- Lecture Hall 3- capacity 50 persons + video projector + a permanent workstation with PC + Internet
- Lecture Hall 4 - capacity 50 persons + video projector + a permanent workstation with PC + Internet
- Lecture Hall 5/6 - capacity 80 persons + 2 video projectors + 2 permanent workstations with PC + Internet (the classroom can be divided into two by means of a movable dividing wall thus becoming the room 5 and the room 6)
- Lecture Hall 7 - capacity 50 persons + video projector + a permanent workstation with PC + Internet
Study rooms
- Renzo Sartori" Laboratories, ground floor: study space with tables (58 seats). 2 PCs connected to the University network are available. It is also possible to access the internet with personal devices, via ALMAWIFI, the University's wireless network. This area can be used as a caffeteria, equipped with microwave ovens from 1 to 2 pm.
- ITAS, second floor: 75 seats , of which 40 with table. Equipped with a video projector, 3 PCs connected to the University network, 2 microwaves and 1 fridge. It is also possible to access the internet with personal devices, via ALMAWIFI, the University's wireless network. It is used as a study room and for lecture, seminars, meetings. It is used as a caffetteria from 1 to 2 pm.
Laboratories
- Computer lab, classrooms block: 15 networked PC workstations and a file server connected, video projector.
- Analytical chemistry, ITAS, ground floor.
- Molecular biology, ITAS, first floor: 12 places.
- Experimental naturalistic biology laboratory, ITAS, first floor: 12 places.

Research laboratories
Inside the "Renzo Sartori" bulding there are several laboratories where research is carried out on the environmental applications of various disciplines, such as biology, ecology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences.
In these laboratories it is possible for students to do their thesis work.
Occasionally they are also used for lab classes.
The library
ITAS, second floor.
It is available to students and provides textbooks and other useful publications. Among the services offered by the library:
- interlibrary loan for books and articles;
- access to the internet via ALMAWIFI, the University's wireless network;
- the secure proxy service, which allows the virtual library to be used also from outside the University.
