Once completed all the steps in the internship app, prof. Michele Palermo will register the relevant credits upon assessment of the uploaded documents.
Offshore Engineering students can decide to select a curricular internship among free-choice activities (60749 Internship in the Course Structure Diagram) and/or an Internship for preparation for the final examination abroad or in Italy (84551 Internship abroad for preparation of the final examination - 86296 Internship for preparation for the final examination in the Course Structure Diagram).

For the final report, use the template INTERNSHIP FINAL REPORT - in continuacy with the final dissertation provided in the current page (Attachment Box on the right).
The tutor/supervisor should send an email to the Internship Board (Michele Palermo – mail: michele.palermo7@unibo.it) to confirm that the internship is in continuity with the final dissertation.
The evaluation is made according to the report and documents uploaded by the student. In case the report is not sufficient, the candidate could be called for an oral examination at the end of which a revision of the report could be requested.

In this case, the final report consists in a brief power point presentation (max 10 slides, to be uploaded in the system as a PDF file) summarizing the main activities (methods and main results) carried out during the internship.
