The final evaluation grade will depend upon:
- Average grade of prior exams
- Quality of the thesis project
If the supervisor deems the student’s work/project as particularly remarkable, the assignment of a co-supervisor can be asked to the president of the Graduation Board, at least one month before graduation session date.
The Graduation Board will assign the final evaluation grade according to the following criteria:
- average score achieved by the student during his/her academic career, provided by the Student Administration Office.
- up to 5 additional points for the thesis project/dissertation (up to 7 points if a co-supervisor has been assigned), of which: up to 3 points awarded on proposal of the Supervisor; up to 2 points awarded upon request of the co-supervisor; up to 2 points by decision of the Graduation Board.
If the resulting final grade is higher than 110 but lower than 113, then final evaluation grade will be 110/110.
If the resulting grade is equal to or higher 113, the Supervisor may propose to award honours / laude. The proposal must be approved unanimously by all the members of the Graduation Board.
