AULA O (UE4), via Gobetti 85 - In presence event

On March 7 at 4:00 PM, (UE4 – CLASSROOM O) Prof. Garry Hanan from the Department of Chemistry at the Université de Montréal (Québec) will present exchange opportunities between our universities for students, PhD candidates, and faculty members.

In particular, he will introduce the opportunities offered by the

  1. TASSEP (Trans-Atlantic Science Student Exchange Program) and
  2. the Graduate Research Award offered by Canada (a program that fully funds master's and PhD students to conduct research in Canada for 3–6 months).

The meeting for interested participants will take place on Friday, March 7, at 4:00 PM in Room O (Ue4).

These mobility programs are open to students and doctoral students of various STEM disciplines: physics, chemistry, astronomy, biological sciences, biotechnology.

In addition to his expertise in student mobility programs, Prof. Hanan's research focuses on the development of supramolecular photocatalysts that harvest solar energy for chemical transformations and photovoltaic applications.
He will also give a seminar on March 6 in Room 3 of the Department of Chemistry "Giacomo Ciamician" (Via Selmi 2) from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (title: Photoactive supramolecular assemblies).
