Advanced Methods in Particle Physics is an internation degree programme, entirely taught in English and leading to a joint qualification.
The issue of a joint qualification means that students will obtain a single qualification recognised and validated by all the institutions running the joint programme.
This degree programme is offered by three partner universities: the University of Bologna (UNIBO), TU Dortmund University (TUDO) and Clermont Auvergne University (UCA).
Students will study in each universities for one semester (approx. 30 ECTS with lectures and lab courses) while the final semester is dedicated to the preparation of the research thesis and the final examination, as indicated below:
- First semester (September – January): Clermont-Auvergne
- Second semester (mid April – mid July): Dortmund
- Third semester (mid September – end of December): Bologna
- Fourth semester (January – degree): internship in preparation of thesis, final examination. Students can decide the location.
