2- Elective activities (min limit 8 CFU)

For the acquisition of 8 credits of elective activities in the first year, students may select one or more learning activities autonomously: among those activated every year by the Degree Course, those activated by other Master's Degree of Class LM-51 or those in the Unibo teaching offer called 'Soft Skills'. Soft Skills are independent of specific disciplinary skills but are rather fundamental skills at work, without which organizations struggle to achieve their goals. These skills pertain to cognitive, realization, managerial, relational and communicative areas. If the student decide to take an exam relating to a course not included among those above, he must apply to the Degree Programme Board which will assess the coherence of the choice with the aims of the Degree Programme.

2- Final examination (15 CFU)

As part of their final exam, students may choose to carry out practical and research activities within companies/institutions external to Unibo, or within Unibo laboratories. Such preparatory activities may be registered in students’ records to specify the type of work carried out., either on a pass/fail basis or with a grade, depending on the cases. Students may therefore choose to carry out their final exam only, internship for the preparation abroad of the final thesis, or preparation abroad of the final thesis.

Option for the student who carries out the internship for the preparation of the final examination abroad and discusses it in Italy (max limit 15 CFU)
If you select this option, you intend to enter a competition for international mobility (e.g. Thesis Abroad, Erasmus+, etc.) or to start an internship by applying on SOL – Internship (to know more go on your degree course’s website > homepage > studying>internship for the preparation of the final thesis. It is not necessary to proceed modifying your online study plan for the choice of training activity.

Option for the student who prepares the final examination abroad and discusses it in Italy (max limit 15 CFU)
If you select this option, you intend to enter a competition for international mobility (e.g. Thesis Abroad, Erasmus+, etc.). You will agree with your thesis supervisor the company/institution who will host you and the activities to carry out. It is not necessary to proceed modifying your online study plan for the choice of training activity. Your career will be updated after your return from mobility.
