How to activate the TPV in the Organizations or Companies
To host students for the purposes of a Practical Evaluation Internship (TPV), the organizations or companies must comply with two fundamental requisites:
The organizations and companies already qualified and having an agreement with our University are available within the Unibo Internship Service Online, where you can consult and find out potential, active TPV internship opportunities and from the Database of the Regional Register of Psychologists.
The TPV internship can also be carried out at our University’s laboratories or structures (within your Degree programme or Department): consult the list of the available structures or labs in the Annexes.
It is possible to make new organizations or companies eligible for hosting TPV internships, with the establishment of an agreement with our University: consult the information in this Web page.
After having identified the host company or organization and having agreed with the company’s relevant psychologist tutor the period and duration of the internship, as well as the details of your TPV project, you will have to submit your application via the Unibo Online Internship Service. To submit your application:
1. Make sure that the company/organization is already qualified for hosting a TPV internship and has already entered an agreement with our University; in case it is not qualified yet and hasn’t agreement, the company shall abide by the indications to enter an agreement with Unibo and apply for becoming qualified/eligible to host TPV internships
2. Complete your TPV application in one of the following modes:
3. Your application will subsequently be evaluated and, upon its approval, you will receive an email message with indications on how to complete your TPV internship activation. The TPV internship cannot start before receiving the approval. If necessary, the start date may be postponed automatically.
4. Download the attendance register from the Online Internship Service: in this document, you will find the authorized period/duration of your TPV internship.

It is not permitted to carry out the TPV internships at organizations or companies which are property of or belonging to cohabitants, relatives or relatives of the intern, nor at host organizations/companies with which they have professional ties and at the workplace, or at host entity with which the intern has relationships of work, even self-employed.
To carry out a TPV internship abroad, you have two different options:
Please note that all students who undertake a TPV internship abroad are required to complete the Distance Learning (FAD) module entitled "Deontology for the Psychological Profession in Italy - A Distance Learning Toolkit for Students of Psychology", in English, available on the Virtual platform (https://virtuale.unibo.it/course/view.php?id=56556#section-0). Once you have passed the module, obtaining a score of 6 out of 10 in the three tests of the module, you will receive a Passing Badge and a notification via email. It is suggested to save and keep the notification, transforming it into a pdf file, so that you can attach it to the documentation relating to the TPV undertaken abroad, when it is required. It is recommended to complete the FAD module "Deontology for the Psychological Profession in Italy - A Distance Learning Toolkit for Students of Psychology" well in advance of the deadline dates for meeting the requirements for enrollment in the Practical Evaluation Test (PPV) sessions, so as to allow for the correct procedures for registering in your career, or recognizing the TPV abroad.
During the internship, you will have to fill out the attendance register with the effective attendance hours, on a daily basis. The period of attendance shall match the authorized period/duration of your internship. In case of changes (e.g., suspension, cancellation, etc.) to the project or schedule of your internship, you will have to inform via Email the Traineeship Office, the relevant teaching tutor or supervisor (in CC) and the psychologist tutor at the host company or organization.
If you carry out internship travels, missions or activities outside the seat or structure indicated in the approved project, you should preventively send an email message to the teaching tutor and wait for his/her authorization via Email, in this way you will be guaranteed an insurance cover. Please always remember to enter in CC the psychologist tutor at the host company/organization and the Traineeship Office at Unibo.
Throughout the entire duration of your internship, you will be granted an insurance cover against accidents on the workplace and a civil liability insurance. For further information on the insurance cover, please consult the web page of the Insurance Service.
Once you have concluded the TPV internship at the host organization (for learning activities: B5020 TPV 10 credits EXTRACURRICULAR; B2807 TPV EXTERNAL 20 Credits; B2808 TPV EXTERNAL 14 Credits), within the Internship Service online you must:
