Second Cycle Degree/Two Year Master in Psychology of wellbeing and social inclusivity

Lecture attendance

Attendance of all students (i.e., enrolled students, Erasmus, overseas students) at lectures is mandatory for at least 80% of each course/teaching activity.

Presence of students to courses will be verified and recorded by professors at the beginning of every lecture. Showing up after 10’ from the beginning of class may result in being considered as absent.

Not fulfilling the attendance requirement can jeopardize the possibility of taking the exam at the end of course/teaching activity.

Lecture attendance is compulsory as a precondition of innovative co-construction of knowledge.

Here are a few good reasons to attend lectures:

  1. A teacher's guidance and support are essential to enrich and complete the learning process. Learning is not about studying passively, but about unleashing learning potential through interaction with the teachers and the peers.
  2. The entire education process allows the development and the improvement of cognitive, emotional and social capabilities through individual and collective projects by comparing and discussing with other people. In the context of active and partecipatory learning students have the opportunity to collaborate with each other by organising study groups, exchange notes on the various disciplines, share experiences and strategies for the most fruitful learning outcomes.
  3. It is essential to take active part in all practical disciplines, such as laboratory work and internships.
