Next Thursday, May 15th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ADMO - Associazione Donatori Midollo Osseo (Bone Marrow Donors Association) will be present with its mobile clinic in the Alberti courtyard at the Rimini Campus.
During this initiative, anyone interested will have the opportunity to register with the Italian Bone Marrow Donor Registry by performing a simple saliva swab, using a special kit designed to collect the genetic profile found in the oral mucosa.
Since 1990, ADMO has been committed to raising awareness among the Italian population about the importance of bone marrow donation—a gesture that can help save lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other serious blood diseases. This event is part of the national MATCH FOR LIFE campaign, ADMO’s awareness and recruitment program for new potential donors, endorsed by the National Transplant Centre, the National Blood Centre and the Italian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (IBMDR).
