Doina Morari (Rep. of Moldova)

- Can you briefly describe yourself and your study experience before SEM?

I moved to Italy in September 2010 because of my university studies. Here in Rimini, before coming to SEM, I graduated in Tourism Economics. I enjoy travelling, nature, music and I also love helping others, from here the decision to become member of 2 volunteering associations. I have a great passion for foreign cultures, especially for their languages. Now I speak Italian, English, Russian and Romanian, a little of Spanish and I hope to be able to learn few new languages in the close future.

  • So why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?

Since I have been planning to continue my studies abroad and I saw the details of this course, I decided it is exactly what I want: an international course that perfectly links with my passions and my previous studies. As well, UNIBO is considered one of the best universities in Italy at international level.

  • Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?

Being a small fraction of the University of Bologna, the Rimini Campus allows to have a well-organized interaction between teachers and students. As well, living in a touristic city, we can meet wonderful people from all around the world and enjoy the free time after studying. It is like living an Erasmus experience at your home university.

Manuela Moschetta (Italy)

- Can you briefly describe yourself and your study experience before SEM?

During high school, I started to be interested in different cultures and I started to love to be in touch with people with a completely different background from mine. For these reasons, I enrolled in a bachelor International course. I immediately enjoy the international environment that I had to face, but sooner I felt that I was missing the possibility of studying in a different country, so I opted to apply for Erasmus. From that moment on, my life took an international perspective and I decided to continue on that path…

  • Why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?

During my last bachelor’s year, I had the opportunity to study for 5 months at the University of Vienna, thanks to the Erasmus Program. There, I experienced what I like to call “the outside-Italy way of teaching” where the theoretical lectures were sided by working groups, laboratories and class discussions. Once I returned to Italy, I did not want to renounce to that kind of environment anymore and I fortunately found the SEM course in Rimini, which seemed a suitable alternative for me. SEM course offered exactly what I was searching for: interesting courses and international-like way of teaching.

  • Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?

In Rimini, I immediately found my way around. SEM’s students made me feel at home like the very first moment. The small number of students of the course gave us the opportunity to form a solid and collaborative group and this permitted me to enjoy every lecture and especially working group’s activities.

Moreover, professors have no problems in dealing with everyone’s singular request and this help us to understand every topic in the best way.

Sergio Scatola (Italy)

- Can you briefly describe yourself and your study experience before SEM ?

Since I was a child I always have been accustomed to travel a lot and relate with many people with different culture and mentality. Until now, considering only Italy, I moved in three different cities : Milano, Verona and since 2011 Rimini. Here I decided to attend the University of Bologna and I got my bachelor’s degree in Business Economics. I really like reading, discuss with people, work in team and face difficult challenges, trying to do always the best.

  • Why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini ?

My dream is to become one day a manager in the international market for foreign or Italian companies. When I was closed to end my bachelor’s degree, I started looking for an International Master Degree in English. I heard about this new course at Rimini Campus, I attended the open day and I made my choice. The course’s structure is well prepared,  I like the way lectures are made, not only theory, but also practice ( discussions, work group, seminaries with external professors and managers). Here you have an active role and can meet different cultures thanks to the presence of foreign students and experts. In my opinion, this is the best choice for you if you want to improve your English, your business knowledge and meet different people.

Here in Rimini you can find the perfect balance between study and entertainment. The city has always something to offer for your free time (sport and cultural events, green areas, bars) and it makes you feel home. About Rimini Campus I can spend only good words: very well prepared professors, good service, laboratories, library.
As SEM student you will be a part of a small group of people. This means great collaboration with your colleagues and with your professors, always available to answer to your personal questions and problems. I’m really happy with my choice and a strongly suggest you to take into account this Master Degree course to complete your studies.
