I have a master’s degree in Economics in the field of Finance and Credit. I graduated from Artsakh State University and after having about 6 years of work experience in the Banking industry, I decided to study abroad to broaden the area of my operation and get foreign experience.
So why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?
I have chosen the SEM program first of all because nowadays service sphere, day after day, is becoming a profound industry. Secondly I want to gain appropriate knowledge and skills in order to have success and be able to overcome existing strong competition. Besides, Rimini is a beautiful, historical, pleasant city, located on the seaside, where I can both study with pleasure and have many unforgettable days in such a wide multicultural environment.
Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?
I think that this program will give me a great life experience. I learn many theoretical things and have practical projects, where I work multicultural teams. Besides, SEM is well structured and this gives me an opportunity to gain knowledge on different subjects. Another very important aspect of this course is that we can have an opportunity to have seminars held by different professors from other universities, managers of large corporations and to obtain both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Bahruz Bakhshaliyev (Azerbaijan)
I have graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics. My bachelor degree was mainly concentrated in the fields of economics and finance, so I always had an ambition of pursuing a career in the financial sector. After graduating, I started working as a human resources and payroll specialist in one of the best commercial banks of my country. I was satisfied with my job, but only a bachelor degree was not enough to make my steps in corporate ladder.
So why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?
Leaving your comfort zone is very important, because the best way to discover who you are and what you want to be, is to take a step outside it and experience a new way of living. As my country has strong economical relations with Italy, it has always been interesting for me. After a deep research, I chose Bologna University. When I knew that my target course of Service Management is taught at the Rimini Campus, it gave me a great feeling, because some of my friends had came here as tourists and all of them had positive impression about the city.
Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?
Now, I am a first year Service Management student and I am absolutely glad for being a part of this course. In the past 2 months in Rimini I have been enjoying my student life and especially being in contact with so many international students. So far besides the crash courses, we had finished two important subjects – Behavioral Economics and Strategic Management (Service Business Models) which were very interesting and actually impacted my analytical thinking and decision making abilities. Additionally, among the upcoming courses “Human Resources Management and Leadership” sounds very fascinating to me as it is consistent to my previous job.
Gohar Nikoghosyan (Armenia)
I would describe myself as a friendly, sociable and open-minded person, who loves taking on challenges and is willing to comprehend the uniqueness of diverse cultures and mentalities. I graduated from Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University with honors diploma in Management. I worked in relevant sphere for several years and also took part in environmental and educational volunteer projects. The mentioned experience enriched my knowledge and widened my views in respect to different social aspects.

Professors and the staff of the university make their best to assist students in any matter. Studying at the Rimini Campus is like being part of a big family. Everybody is friendly and kind in Italy. People walk along the streets smiling and spreading their positive emotions. Moreover, the nearness of the sea is a significant advantage of living in Rimini.
Jerry Nana Brenya (Ghana)
I majored in Marketing in my undergraduate course at the Coventry University and I graduated in the Master degree in Supply Chain Management. I spent most of my work life in Sales and Marketing. I love travelling and I had always wanted to pursue a course in a non-English speaking country, like Italy, which is out of my comfort zone, because in the current world, one has to be multi-skilled, have a dynamic knowledge and people skills to be successful in the international business environment.

Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?
The class size is small and that enables building good relationship between lecturers and students, and networking among students which is key in post-graduation success. The city of Rimini has lots of great things to offer in terms of academics, history and social life. The city provides a perfect blend of historical sites and architecture, social life and great atmosphere for students. I believe this makes Rimini a complete city and leaves you with good memories.
Elisa Dall’Ara (Italy)
I attended the Bachelor Course of Management and Marketing at the University of Bologna. I have spent the second semester of the second year in Germany: I am thankful to the university for giving me the opportunity to be abroad for that period, because it helped me to understand what I want for my future career. During my exchange I realized how important is to get an international degree and furthermore I discovered my passion for foreign languages and cultures.
So why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?
After my Erasmus experience I understood I wanted to keep on studying not just in English, but also with colleagues from other countries, European or extra-UE. I strongly believe that living in an international environment will allow me to grow on an academic and on a personal level, widening my horizons and my chances for the future. I think that this Master Degree fits my interests and my ambition to work in an international company as an export manager. Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?
I am part of a small group of people, which leads to great collaboration and dialogue between colleagues and professors. We don’t feel afraid or embarrassed of questioning our teachers, and because of the small sized class, we can ask for further explanations also after classes. Personally speaking, I like the structure of the course: in the first year we study the theoretic part, while during the second we apply what we have learned into practical project works, which will make us feel closer to the work world.
Giacomo Andreani (Italy)
I've always been a person who loves foreign cultures, so after high school I decided to enroll in the international Bachelor program in Business and Economics, at the University of Bologna. During my studies I enjoyed a special multicultural environment. I loved interacting with people and getting to know new friends from all over the world, especially trying different traditional food.
So why did you choose the Master’s degree course in SEM in Rimini?
There are many reasons why I chose this course: first of all, because this is an international course that hosts students from all over the world, so there is the same cultural mix that I enjoyed during my bachelor degree. Secondly, the University of Bologna is very famous and well-ranked worldwide and its organization is satisfactory. Also, the study plan of the course is very interesting and it aims at giving the students strong skills in different fields. Being a student in SEM, can you summarize your experience studying in Rimini?
I think that Rimini is a multi-sided city: here you can find different ways to enjoy your free time, such as going sightseeing the very nice historical centre, going for a walk in the parks or in the seaside, drinking something in the pubs or going to the discos. In the summer, the city fills up with plenty of tourists and the seaside becomes very entertaining. Rimini offers you the possibility to do different things and to be able to combine your study with your personal entertainment.
