NEW NAME: COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING
Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, this Master's degree will be renamed Communications Engineering and you will find the new name on the application procedure.
The study plan shall be modified slightly, yet most courses will maintain the same name and contents. Over the next few months you will be able to see the updated study plan.
ADMISSIONS
In order to be admitted and enroll on the Master's degree in Communications Engineering, students should send off an online application.
Admissions to the academic year 2025/2026 are available.
The first intake is for non-EU students only, whereas subsequent ones are for EU and non-EU students alike. It is worth noting admissions will close to non-EU students on July the 2nd, 2025, whereas further intake shall be made available later on to EU students.
Applicants may send off their application according to the admission intakes detailed down below, the admission feedback being available in a three weeks' time after each deadline.

English Proficiency
In order to be admitted, Applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency no lower than B2 level (according to CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) by producing an International Language Certification such as:
- IELTS - International English Testing System (5.5-6.0-6.5);
- TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language (PBT 507-557; CBT 180-217; IBT 80-99);
- Trinity College of London (ISE II);
- Cambridge First Certificate of English;
- PTE - Academic (59-75);
- Idoneità curriculare B2 (for those graduated from Italian universities only).
Furthermore, the English proficiency is deemed to be fulfilled by those having obtained a University degree fully delivered English with a minimum length of 2 academic years (120 ECTS) in one EU/EEA country as well as in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. English as a medium of instruction (MOI) should be clearly written down on the transcript of academic records.
Applications without a proper English proficiency certificate shall be deemed not admissible.
Cumulative Grade Point Average and Transcript of Records
When sending off your application, you will be required to enter the name of your Bachelor degree and your CGPA as well as the minimum and maximum CGPA according to the education system you graduated from.
Moreover, Applicants must enter a full transcript of records with exams, the graduation certificate being not enough. Please refer to the admission notice for further information.
Embassy's pre-enrolment
If you have a foreign qualification, read the specific information.
If you are a non-EU citizen resident abroad, read carefully the specific information prepared for you as you are required to go through the embassy's pre-enrollment procedure on the the Universitaly portal.
It is worth poiting out the pre-admission letter is not necessary anymore and therefore not to be sent off to admitted applicants.
