An internship allows you to carry out activities in organizations or companies, in order to add a complementary practical experience to your University education.
Internships are carried out on the basis of an agreement between the University of Bologna and the Host Structure (company, public body, professional firm etc.) and an internship programme signed by the parties concerned.
AMaC academic tutors for internships are the following professors: Roberto Pinto, Irene Graziani or Anna Rosellini (choose one of them).
For both internship typologies, you can submit your internship request:
The request for the Internship for Preparation for the Final Examination can be submitted exclusively from your second year, after having selected the internship in your study plan.
You are required to first have already defined the main subject of your final examination with your supervisor who will follow your activities during the internship. You also have to ask your supervisor to write an email in which he/she approves your internship activities, you'll have to upload it together with your curriculum vitae during the online application procedure.
To learn more about the open windows of your study plan, see also: Preparing the study plan.
First, prepare an effective CV and a cover letter. You can follow University guidance services about how to write effective CVs and targeted cover letters as well as job interview simulations in Job Placement.
Please, note that:
- Internships cannot be carried out at a Hosting institution where the legal representative, the cooperation partner or the responsible manager in charge has family ties or affinity within the 2nd degree with the interested student.
- Curricular internships (also internships in preparation of the final examination) must be carried out in presence. The internship committees may authorize, after evaluation of the internship project, to carry out the internship at distance or in a blended modality.
Hosting institutions having already signed an internship agreement with the University of Bologna publish their internship vacancies on the Online Internship Database. You can check on the internet platform SOL-Internships
or
In both cases, once the hosting institution has accepted your application, connect to SOL-Internships:
