Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
AMaC 1st year students need to submit their study plan in order to confirm the compulsory 1st year teachings and to choose among the available options. (AMaC 1st year students also have the possibility to choose the option "Anticipation of the internship foreseen in the 2nd year" in their study plan, in this case the curricular internship foreseen for the 2nd year can be done already after the end of the 1st year lesson period.)
AMaC 2nd year students also need to submit their study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
A study plan can be presented by properly enrolled students who have paid their tuition fees and, in the case of international students, who hold a valid residence permit.
You can present and amend your study plan in two periods during the academic year.
The open windows for the 2026/2027 AY are:
- First period: from October 5th to November 26th 2026
- Second period: from January 11th to April 9th 2027
Students presenting their study plan within November 26th 2026 can modify their study plan for the current academic year during the subsequent period of presentation.
Following expiry of the deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments may be made.
Once the study plan has been filled in online, it is immediately available on the AlmaEsami platform.
[Attention: Students intending to graduate within the academic year 2025/26 (=within the graduation session of March 2027), cannot present the study plan and modify the teachings which had been selected before.
Students who proceed with the payment of the first enrollment rate for the subsequent academic year and modify their study plan will not be able to present their graduation request for March 2027.]
Attention: Students enrolled on academic years subsequent to the first one, who have the intention to change a teaching related to years preceding the year they are currently enrolled on, CANNOT sit nor verbalize the modified exam until the end of the lessons of the current year.
The study plan can be presented via Studenti Online by enrolled students who, accessing the website using their University usernames and passwords:
- need to add optional subjects to their plan;
- need to choose a curriculum;
- need to amend choices made in prior years.
After making the desired choices, remember to click on “save” so that your study plan can be presented correctly.
It is also advisable to print a copy of your completed study plan. This copy is in fact the only way to check for formal or substantive errors that might arise after uploading your study plan.
You are required to present your study plan exclusively in hard-copy if:
You must hand-in the hard-copy to the Student Administration Office in Viale Filopanti 1 (entrance from Mura Anteo Zamboni 2/a) during the opening hours.
It is possible to participate in an exam only if the corresponding didactic activity has been inserted in the study plan and the lesson period has been concluded. This is why it is always necessary to make sure that your study plan has been correctly filled in and that it had been correctly saved and is visible on the AlmaEsami platform. It is very useful to print your study plan or to save a copy in PDF.
Furthermore, to participate in an exam it is necessary that the lesson period of the corresponding didactic activity had been concluded. For further information, consult the didactic calendar and the lesson timetable of your degree programme.
In the "Eligible courses among UniBo teachings" group, you may include:
