To graduate, you have to sit a final examination designed to verify that you have reached the education objectives set by the Degree Programme.
The final examination consists in the writing and the public discussion of a dissertation in English language, written and developed by the student in an original way, on a subject coherent with the aims of the Degree Programme, under the guidance of a supervisor.
Are considered coherent with the aims of the Degree Programme the dissertations prepared under the guidance of supervisors who were teachers of the learning activities of the Single Cycle Degree Programmes in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (LM-13) or the First Cycle Degree Programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies (L-29) of the University of Bologna.
The dissertation must demostrate mastery of the topics, critical thinking abilities, aptitude for operating independently and a good level of communication skills.

The graduation application is valid for just one graduation session. If you graduate in a later session, you will have to re-submit your graduation application and pay only the duty stamp.
For the students of Pharmacy code 5987: PPV and Payment of the tax for professional qualification
In order to graduate, 5987 students must first sit and pass the Practical Evaluation Test (PPV) by the deadline set for passing all exams (see the calendar under the "HIGHLIGHTS" box).
Additionally, within the deadline to submit the graduation application, which is set for each graduation session, it is necessary to:
-arrange the payment of the state tax of €49.58 due for the professional qualification, to the postal account 1016 - made out to the Revenue Agency - School Fees - Pescara Operations Centre;
-send, from your institutional email address, a copy of the relevant payment receipt to the segrimini@unibo.it mailbox with the subject: "Receipt of qualifying degree tax fee".
