The following crash courses are offered by the School in order to help students to get prepared to successfully complete their courses:

A.y. 2017/18:

CRASH COURSE ACCOUNTING: basic principles of Accounting

    • Monday September 11 from 9:30am to 11:30am and from 5pm to 7pm (6 hours) - Room 1 (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

    • Tuesday September 12 from 9am to 6.40pm with one hours lunch break of 1-2pm (8 hours) - Room 1 (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

    • Wednesday September 13 from 9am to 6.40pm with one hours lunch break of 1-2pm (8 hours) - Room 1 (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

    • Monday September 18 from 9am to 6.40pm with one hours lunch break of 1-2pm (8 hours) - Room 1 (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)


  • Thursday September 21​: 12-16 – ​room 2  (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

  • Monday September 25: 9-12 – room 4  (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

  • Friday September 29: 10-14  room 1  (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

  • Friday October 13:10-12 - room Zanzani (P.le della Vittoria, 15 - Forlì)

Crash courses attendance is not compulsory, but warmly recommended to all students, especially for those without a strong competence in Economics and Management subjects.

Registration is not required

Moreover, for the second semester the following crash courses/seminars take place in the second semester:

  • Crash courses in Quantitative Methods (30 hours) 
  • Basic Principles of English phonetics/phonology (20 hours - No ECTS - attendance recommended)     

A.y. 2017/18 SEMINARS:

This year once again, the School of Economics, Management and Statistics of Forlì ​offers to its students the opportunity to attend the ENGLISH LANGUAGE IMPROVEMENT SEMINAR: CV/COVER WRITING & INTERVIEW PREPARATION - 15 hours

(no ECTS awarded)


This workshop aims to improve students' general English language proficiency and develop the necessary communication skills for effective oral/written production. In particular, it will focus on illustrating the basic writing features and communicative strategies required to write an impressive CV and cover letters. Moreover, the course will improve students' ability to attend job/academic interviews exploring the basic verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. Moreover, it will help students in preparing their application procedure for Exchange programmes like Erasmus+ for study and internship purposes, Overseas, master's Degree programmes/Job interviews.

The seminar is designed to:

  • outline what employers are looking for in CVs and cover letters and how to tell employers what they want to know;

  • understand which linguistic features, communicative techniques and strategies make a good application;

  • explore what CVs and cover letters should include;

  • discuss the most frequently-asked questions about applications and job/academic interviews;

  • stress the importance of speaking tactics, non-verbal communication and cross-cultural differences for a successful interview.

  • The workshop is divided into 2 modules:



    Attendance is highly recommended for each module. Students may attend one or both modules.
