From 3 to 6 May 2018, Bologna will host the 4th edition of "Festival della Scienza Medica", a series of meetings, conferences and debates focused on multiple aspects related to the development of biomedical science. The main theme of this edition is "Il Tempo della Cura".
Students enrolled in Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, and Sports Science Schools or Degree Programmes offered by Italian Universities are cordially invited to participate in the 2018 Call for Speech: six students will be selected to participate as speakers during the Festival.
Students can submit a brief abstract (max 400 characters) about one of the following topics:
- What will the medical profession be like in the era of personalised medicine?
- Physicians and the end of life.
- Can medicine help developing individual abilities? Is it ethical?
- What should a doctor say or do to explain why vaccines are useful?
- The role of psychiatrists and drugs in the treatment of depression.
Each student can apply for one single topic by 31 March 2018.
Abstracts will be examined and selected by the Festival Scientific Commitee.
