From the North
You can reach Ravenna through the motorway A14 from Bologna, which converges with the motorway A1 del Sole, A21 Torino-Piacenza and A22 del Brennero.
From Venice
The state road SS309 Romea is the fastest connection, and it joins with the streets coming from Padua and Ferrara (SS16 Adriatica).
From the South
Besides the motorways A1 and A14, the State Road 3 bis Tiberina, better know as E45, connects Terni to Ravenna. Another important road is the SS16 Adriatica.
Inaugurated in 1863, the railway station of Ravenna is in the heart of the city centre.
The railway station has two entrances: Piazzale Farini 1 (main entrance) and Via Antico Squero (city dock’s area). The service is carried out by Trenitalia and Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna (TPER).
