Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
A study plan can be submited by properly enrolled first year students (for the selection of the second language) and third year students (for the selection of the electives), who have paid their tuition fees and, in the case of international students, those who hold a valid residence permit.
Students with status "fuori corso" cannot modify the study plan, unless they pay tuition fees for the academic year when the change is made.
You can present and amend your study plan in two different terms during the academic year.
The open windows for the academic year 2023/2024 are:
After the deadlines, the last study plan submitted will be deemed valid and no further amendments may be made.
*You are kindly invited to submit your study plan in the first window, for any teaching activities taking place in the first semester, or you will not be able to sit the exam in winter session.
ATTENTION: after third year (status fuori corso) students can still change their study plan, but only once and they will have to pay tuition fees of the academic year when the change is requested. Consequently, the first graduation session available will be July.
The study plan can be submitted via Studenti Online by enrolled students in order to choose the electives, up to 16 CFU.
After making the desired choices, remember to click on “save” so that your study plan can be presented correctly.
It is also advisable to print a copy of your completed study plan. This copy is in fact the only way to check for formal or substantive errors that might arise after uploading your study plan.
Students “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) or who have transferred in cannot use the Studenti Online system and must use the hard-copy forms, to be delivered at the Segreteria Studenti (Via Cattaneo 17 - ground floor).
All parts of the form must be completed correctly and delivered to administrative office.
If you select electives from the list offered by the degree programme, there is no need for assessment and your plan is approved automatically and uploaded to your record.
On the other hand, if you want to choose electives not specifically offered by your degree programme, approval/denial will be decided by the Study Plan Committee.
Should you miss the deadlines, you will not be able to graduate before March of the academic year when the study plan has been submitted, thus you will not graduate in due time! Only in this case you will have to submit your study plan with the support of the Students Administrative Office (Segreteria Studenti).
