It also sets the aim of training graduates able to measure, identify, classify, analyse, restore and conserve physical and biotic components of natural and semi-natural aquatic and land ecosystems, with particular reference to parks and nature reserves. Furthermore, Natural Science s graduates are able to work as experts in scientific museums and teaching centres.One of the main purposes of the Degree Programme is to prepare graduates able to work in the education and popularization of Nature Sciences (nature educator) through activities in centres such as museums, parks, protected areas and nature reserves. The degree programme provides the scientific bases and theoretical and practical knowledge required to exercise naturalistic professions (environmental operator), both in environmental and teaching sectors as well as for nature popularization. It also provides the methodological and cultural bases for lifelong learning and the methodological foundations of scientific research in the naturalistic sector.
