Overview

This interdisciplinary programme trains students in biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, reproduction, regenerative medicine, diagnostics, pathology, food safety and genetics. It offers internship opportunities at university laboratories, companies, national/international research institutions. It provides high-level qualifications in veterinary and medical biotechnology.

What will you study?

It includes courses in biochemistry, molecular biology, assisted reproduction, animal models, diagnostics, genetics, pathology and food safety. The range of subjects covered provides sound foundations and a constant reminder of translational medicine and One Health. The proposal is enriched with English-language courses to broaden its international perspective.

Experiences abroad

As part of its foreign experiences, the programme offers the opportunity to carry out internships abroad at international research centres and university laboratories and to participate in exchange programmes with the University of Vienna. These experiences allow direct contact with international concerns, enriching your competences and providing a real advantage in the international labour market.
