Overview

The Degree programme combines biological, biomedical, and biotechnological knowledge with the aim of providing fundamental technical and interpretative skills and tools in various biological and biotechnological fields, both in human and veterinary medicine, ranging from diagnostics to research.

It includes courses in biochemistry, molecular biology, assisted reproduction, animal models, diagnostics, genetics, pathology and food safety. The range of subjects covered provides sound foundations and a constant reminder of translational medicine and One Health. The proposal is enriched with English-language courses to broaden its international perspective.

As part of its foreign experiences, the programme offers the opportunity to carry out internships abroad at international research centres and university laboratories and to participate in exchange programmes with the University of Vienna. These experiences allow direct contact with international concerns, enriching your competences and providing an advantage in the international labour market.
