Programme aims

The specific objective of the second-cycle Master's degree programme in Astrophysics and Cosmology is to provide a solid professional grounding in astronomy, astrophysics and space physics. These fields draw on all the astrophysical information to be had from the entire electromagnetic spectrum, from the radio to the gamma band. Theory is here closely connected with General Relativity, Nuclear Physics and Sub-nuclear Physics. Admission requirements

As a general rule, to benefit by a second-cycle Master's degree programme in ASTROPHYSICS and COSMOLOGY an appropriate knowledge of foundations of mathematics, physics and astronomy is required. The curricular requisites follow: A) Degree in one of the following classes of the Italian University system or a similar qualification gained abroad and recognised as equivalent: - ex D.M. 270: all Degrees of Class L-30 - ex.
