Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
You can submit the study plan if you are regularly enrolled in a.y. 2026/2027 (be sure that you paid all due fees and that you submitted the residence permit receipt or card if you are an international student) and if your year of registration envisages the submission of the study plan.
If you plan to graduate by the end of the academic year 2025/2026 (by the session of March 2027), you cannot submit or change your study plan in the current academic year (a.y. 2026/2027).
During a.y. 2026/2027, you can submit and modify your study plan online in the following period:
Following expiry of these deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments can be made for the current academic year.
Please note that, if in your study plan you want to add free-choice learning activities that are offered by a degree programme with a restricted access, you have to submit your request through this form, which is to be sent to the Programme Coordinator in the pdf format from your name.surname@studio.unibo.it account during these two periods:
This procedure will take up to several weeks and you will be updated by the Programme Coordinator once your request has been evaluated.
The study plan is filled in and submitted through Studenti Online. During the period indicated in the paragraph above, you can submit and modify it without limitations. Once the deadline for submission expires, the latest submitted study plan will be considered valid and no more amendments will be accepted. The study plan you submit online is automatically approved and the list of courses can be found in your career.
If you are interested in adding a free-choice learning activity that is not offered among those listed by your degree programme, search it by course code through the following search tool:
Please note that you can choose courses only from second-cycle degree programmes with open access.
If the course you are interested in is offered by a degree programme with restricted access, please remember that different modalities and deadlines are envisaged. For more information check the section "When to submit the study plan - Changing the study plan with the form" above.
For detailed information about the available thesis preparation activities, please read the page "Credits in preparation for the Final Examination" carefully.
When submitting the study plan online, Astrophysics and Cosmology students can only choose the activity 84630 INTERNSHIP IN PREPARATION FOR THE FINAL EXAMINATION.
If you want to choose one of the other available options, this change cannot be carried out autonomously on Studenti Online, and a manual intervention from the competent offices is required.
