Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.
The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.
You can submit the study plan if you are regularly enrolled in a.y. 2025/2026 (be sure that you paid all due fees and that you submitted the residence permit receipt or card if you are an international student) and if your year of registration envisages the submission of the study plan.
Students can submit their study plan only during the second year. As a matter of fact, in the first year students only have compulsory activities and they cannot select any elective course.
If you plan to graduate by the end of the academic year 2024/2025 (session of March 2026), you cannot submit or change your study plan in the current academic year (a.y. 2025/2026).
During a.y. 2025/2026, you can submit and amend your study plan in the following period:
- From October 1st, 2025 to March 31st, 2026
Following expiry of these deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments can be made for the current academic year.
Please note that, if the course you are interested in is offered by a degree with a restricted access, you have to submit your request through this form, which is to be sent to the Programme Coordinator in the pdf format from your @studio.unibo.it account during these two periods:
- from October 1st, 2025 to November 30th, 2025
- from March 1st, 2026 to March 31st, 2026
This procedure will take up to several weeks and you will be updated by the Programme Coordinator once your request has been evaluated.
N.B.: Students who wish to select free-choice learning activities offered by restricted-access programmes in the field of Economics, Management and Statistical Sciences first must send their request via email to the Student Administration Office of Economics and Management (segecosta@unibo.it) to verify whether seats are still available. Please follow the instructions indicated in this file carefully. Such requests can only be accepted during the following periods:
The study plan is filled in and submitted through StudentiOnline. During the period indicated above, you can submit and modify it without limitations. Once the deadline for submission expires, the latest submitted study plan will be considered valid and no more amendments will be accepted. The study plan you submit online is automatically approved and the list of courses can be found in your career.
If you are interested in adding a free choice learning activity that is not among those listed by your degree programme, search it by course code through the following search tools (available at the bottom of the page on the online submission platform of the study plan):
Please note that you can choose courses only from Second Cycle Degrees/Two Years Masters.
If the course you are interested in is offered by a degree programme with restricted access, please remember that different modalities and deadlines are envisaged. For more information check the section "When to submit the study plan - Changing the study plan with the form" above.
You can select the activity 86297 PREPARATION FOR THE FINAL EXAMINATION or 84630 - INTERNSHIP IN PREPARATION FOR THE FINAL EXAMINATION when submitting your study plan online. If, for any reason, you fail to select the internship activity, you can do so by writing an e-mail to the Internship Office at scienze.tirocini@unibo.it. Please note in the e-mail the code and name of the learning activities you need to add and remove. The Internship Office will evaluate your request and update your study plan if needed.
