HOW TO ENROL IN EXAMS

Students have to enrol online through AlmaEsami.
When you access AlmaEsami, you need to use your student account (name.surname@studio.unibo.it) and password that you received at the end of your enrollment procedure to the degree programme. Only students who completed correctly their enrollment procedures to the degree programme and paid the tuition fees can have access to the exam enrollment process.
If you receive the following message "Lo studente non ha pagato tutte le tasse previste" (i.e. the student has not paid all due tuition fees) please get immediately in contact with the Student Secretary office (tel +39 0543 374809) or verify your status directly on Studenti on line "Situazione tasse" (i.e. Tuition Fees situation).
Teachers will not be able to register a mark if there are irregularities connected with University tuition fees.

If you do not manage to enroll in the exam even if an exam session has been fixed, please get immediately in contact with our Secretary office at the number +39 0543 374673 or via e-mail at the e-mail address ems.fo.studenti@unibo.it to verify your situation and find possible solutions. This is particular important for exchange students.

 OPENING AND CLOSURE OF THE EXAM ENROLLMENT LIST

Lists open (both for written and oral exams):
15 days before the exam date (Ex.: exam date: June 20th à lists open starting from June 5th)
Lists close:

- for written exams: 5 days before the exam day at midnight (Ex: exam date: June 20th à lists close on June 15th at midnight);

- for oral exams:  2 days before the exam date at midnight (Ex: exam date: on June 20th à lists close on June 18th at midnight);

Once lists close you will not be able to enrol anymore and the secretary office will not be able to intervene for late enrollment.

HOW TO KNOW THE RESULT OF A WRITTEN EXAM?

The results of exams are published online by teachers at the webpage Almaesami next to the name of the exam.

How you see the result:

- “Sostenuto (28)” means that the teacher has published the mark but it has not been registered jet.

- “Verbalizzato : 28”,  means that the teacher registered the mark

- If you fail an exam, you will not be given a mark but the teacher will register that you did not take the exam (“ritirato”) or that you failed it (“respinto”). This indication is not registered in your curriculum so it will not affect the final average of your marks.

For privacy reasons, the results of the exams cannot neither be communicated by phone by the secretary office nor published on the School showcases with students’ names and surnames but only with the matriculation number.

The registration date can be published on Almaesami (in the field “note”) by the teacher or notified directly by the teacher on the day of the exam.

After you register for an exam, registration is published on Almaesami so you can print the reservation by using the button "stampa prenotazione".

INTEGRATED COURSES (I.C.) and preservation of the results of single disciplines

Integrated courses are made up of two or more disciplines whose lectures can also be scheduled in the same period and held by different teachers. At the end of the I:C course, student receive one single final mark. I.C courses consist of at least 60 hours of lessons/8 ECTS.
Among the teachers of the single disciplines, a coordinator is appointed and she/he is in charge of organizing the teaching activities and of registering the final mark connected to the entire I.C.
The teaching activities of an integrated course involve a unique final mark.

If a student already successfully passed the exam of a single discipline, the mark is preserved till February 2017 exam session.

For exchange students participating in authorized exchange programs (such as Erasmus, Overseas…) the results of the single disciplines taken abroad are preserved till the student take all the disciplines of the entire course.
