VERY IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR I-CONTACT STUDENTS

The calls to be one of the Tutors of the course I-CONTACT are open!

What: 2 working contracts as tutor within the I-CONTACT programme

Position 1: 400 hours (from the beginning of the contract to the end of October 2025)

Activities:

  • Provide support to international students, through careful linguistic-cultural mediation, to guarantee a concrete point of reference for everything related to services, teachings and integration into city life
  • support students who encounter difficulties in the regular course of study through customised learning support activities.
  • The tutors shall act as an interface between the student and the university structure. In particular, in close collaboration with the Course Coordinator, he/she will act as a concrete point of reference for teaching activities, information finding, and for collecting reports on any critical issues and requests from students related to logistical and organisational aspects or other types of problems;
  • Support and provide information for the initiatives proposed by the Course Coordinator, including: orientation initiatives, surveys on students’ opinions and on possible employment opportunities. Knowledge of the Italian language required.
  • Provide information and organisational support for orientation initiatives.

 NB: knowledge of the Italian language will be assessed during the interview

Position 2: 200 hours (from the beginning of the contract to the end of October 2025)

Activities:

  • Provide support to international students, through careful linguistic-cultural mediation, to guarantee a concrete point of reference for everything related to services, teachings and integration into city life
  • support students who encounter difficulties in the regular course of study through customised learning support activities.
  • The tutors shall act as an interface between the student and the university structure. In particular, in close collaboration with the Course Coordinator, he/she will act as a concrete point of reference for teaching activities, information finding, and for collecting reports on any critical issues and requests from students related to logistical and organisational aspects or other types of problems;
  • Collaborate on initiatives for personalised support and remedial activities as deemed appropriate by the Course Coordinator, with particular attention to incoming orientation activities, support and guidance in the choice of apprenticeship and in the preparation of the dissertation;
  • Provide information and organisational support for orientation initiatives.

Students can participate to both positions

Who can apply :

 -   students who at the time of the deadline are aged 30 or less

  • students enrolled in the a.y. 2024/2025 at the University of Bologna and specifically to the I-CONTACT (International Cooperation on Human Rights and Intercultural Heritage) master degree (First-year students willing to apply are required to have already obtained the BA degree).

    • Self-certification attesting your age and your BA grade (the BA grade is requested only to students who have not studied in the University of Bologna)
    • Photocopy recto/verso of a valid ID card or Passport
    • Other documents, if deemed necessary, in the section “curriculum”
