The international degree programme IMAHS has been designed for highly motivated students and aims to form international-level professionals that will be qualified for designing, managing and assuring the quality of agricultural business along the whole production chain. The final aim is to allow future professionals to increase the sustainability of the production chain, from the environmental preservation and protection to the social and economical aspects (People-Planet-Profit).
Graduates may apply for positions in the management of the food production or transformation chain, in the organization of control systems and quality certification (traceability, system-, process- and product quality, hygienic assessment) of horticultural produce, in the organization of activities and projects linked to public intervention in horticulture, and in research and development for the improvement of technology and production.
