Check out the scholarships, aids and benefits offered by ER.GO. the Regional Authority for the Right to Higher Education in Emilia- Romagna, Alma Mater Studiorum -University of Bologna and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

There are many funding opportunities for prospective and current students wishing to enroll/enrolled at the University of Bologna offered on the basis of specific competitions.

Once enrolled, students can apply for several other opportunities such as prizes, paid students collaborations and specific financial aids.

 Check out the following ones:

- ER.GO (Study grants, accommodation services, meals vouchers, fee exemption) 

Er.Go is the Regional Authority for the Right to Higher Education in Emilia Romagna. It helps students through study grants (up to 5000 euros each year) , exemptions from tuition fees, residential and meal services, funding and aid for disabled students according to set requirements based on income and merit. Check out the extensive guidebook in English. 

Please note that usually the call for applications is published on ER-GO website in July. Please check it regularly and pay attention to the deadlines and the documentation required.

- UNIBO study grants and exemptions for international students: 
International students can apply for a study grant Worth 11.000 € gross (assigned on the basis of the SAT and GRE tests) or an exemption from tuition fees (Unibo Action 1 and
Unibo Action 2). Read carefully the calls for application and for any question refer to the International Student Desk (internationaldesk@unibo.it)

- Study prizes for deserving EU and non-EU students enrolled on Bologna University:
Each academic year, UNIBO offers Degree Programmes Prizes based on merit for deserving EU and non-EU students regularly enrolled at Bologna University.

- Student part-time collaboration - 150 hours. The University offers students complying with particular conditions of income and merit the possibility to collaborate in various structures . The collaboration Agreement lasts 150 hours and will be paid around 1100 euros. - Scholarships offered by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Every year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers scholarships to extra-UE students. For this opportunity check out the information at the weblink or get in touch with the Italian Embassy in your country. 

- Scholarships offered by the IMAHS degree programme Board. Each year, the IMAHS degree programme board offers grants based on merit covering tuition fees for first year students. Detailed information will be published later on this website.
