IPE is multidisciplinary between the classes of study of "LM-62 Politics" and "LM-56 Economics". In their first year, students choose in which class they wish to graduate in and they can eventually modify their choice in the second year. The programme is promoted by the Dpt. of Political and Social Sciences in co-operation with the Dpt. of Economics and the Dpt. of Management of the University of Bologna, and it benefits from the strong international reputation of these Departments in teaching and research.
