2. Gruppo di scelta 1 (Linguistics) (12 CFU)
This set includes two integrated courses (c.i.). Both have in common an Applied Linguistics for Interpreters unit, which is taught in English. The other unit is in Italian. Students with a level of Italian that is equivalent to B2 or more will select LINGUISTICS FOR ITALIANS (I.C.) that includes an Italian Linguistics for Interpreters unit; non-Italian students with a lower level of Italian will select LINGUISTICS FOR NON-ITALIANS (I.C.) that includes an Italian L2 for Interpreters unit.

Over the duration of the MA programme, students must acquire at least 15 credits (= 3 exams, or more if the student so chooses) in Elective courses made available by the Department, or by the University of Bologna at large.
3. Prova finale LM - Final Examination LM (18 CFU)
This set includes a 3 credit Self-training unit and a 15 credit Final project. The latter, if the student so requests, may be further broken down into a 5 credit Final project plus one 10 credit activity to be chosen between: Internship for preparation for the final examination, Internship abroad for preparation for the final examination, or Preparation for the Final Examination Abroad.
