The programme provides advanced knowledge in the areas of medieval, modern and contemporary art history. It explores the visual arts with an interdisciplinary approach in relation to ongoing international transformations in the field of museology and methodologies. Internships and workshops prepare for work in the visual arts in their various forms.

Courses range from art history, both Western and non-Western, to museology, preservation, valorisation and mediation of the historical-artistic heritage, enabling the acquisition of sound skills in core fields. These are complemented by pedagogical, legal and management courses, for a training pathway meeting the demands of the world of work.

The programme offers the possibility of a double degree with Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master Patrimoine et Musées). Through international mobility programmes (Erasmus+ for study, Erasmus+ for traineeship, Overseas programme), it is also possible to carry out periods of study and internships abroad to prepare for the final examination.
