Requirements for Documentation and Academic Relevance
It is further specified that, with reference to the Master’s Degree Program in Economics and Econometrics, the recognition of any extra-university activity as a curricular internship requires the submission of clear, detailed, and well-documented evidence regarding the nature, structure, and academic relevance of the activity. In the case of self-employment activities, where formal supervision is typically absent, students are required to provide explicit evidence of the existence of the activity as well as of their personal and substantive contribution to it.
If you have carried out an extra-university activity consistent with your course of study, you may request its recognition in place of the curricular internship.
The activity may include:
You may submit a recognition request:
Important notes:
The activity carried out must correspond to at least the number of hours required for the internship credits in your study plan. For example, if your plan includes a 6-credit internship, you must have completed an activity lasting at least 150 hours. Partial recognition is not allowed.
The maximum number of credits that can be recognised from external working activities is 12. Therefore, you can only ask to recognize an internship activity that provides 12 or less credits depending on your course structure diagram.
To apply for recognition please submit the following documents (available in the attachment box) to the Student Administration Office:
Please Note: Before submitting the application, inform the course of studies about the activities that have been carried out (or that will be carried out) in order to verify whether they are eligible for recognition.
The documents must be sent (by post) to: Economics, Management and Statistics - Student Administration Office/Segreteria Studenti Economia, Management e Statistica. Alternatively, you may arrange an appointment to hand in the documents in person (please refer to the Student Administration Office contact information in this page). Please note: It is not possible to send the documents by e-mail.
