The University of Bologna Ravenna Campus, in collaboration with Fondazione Flaminia and ENGIM Emilia-Romagna, is inaugurating a new food service for students. Starting from March 3, 2025, a pilot project will provide at least 200 meals daily with a lowered price, Monday to Friday, at Giardino Rasponi in Via Arnaldo Guerrini.
Another food service will also soon become available to the student population of Ravenna at the ‘Ubuntu’ training restaurant on Via Punta Stilo.
Meals, prepared by ENGIM as part of a training programme, can be reserved via the E2Kmenù app (operational starting from mid-March) or temporarily through WhatsApp via ‘Officina Ubuntu Ravenna’ on Instagram or by calling 351-9579391.
This initiative, supported by Fondazione Flaminia and other local institutions, has a double goal: to enhance student services and to offer ENGIM students hands-on experience in a real-world environment.
Luca Cipriani, President of the Ravenna Campus, and Mirella Falconi Mazzotti, President of Fondazione Flaminia, underlined its uttermost importance in the context of student life. Rina Giorgetti, Director of ENGIM, highlighted the project’s value in integrating education with practical training.
This project doesn't just address students’ needs, it also fosters collaboration between university students and vocational trainees, setting a new culture and environment of shared learning and community engagement.
