Hi all,
We are looking for someone to fill a research grant for doctoral degree holders (PhD level) as part of the MIMAR+ project (a follow up of MIMAR), a cooperation project co-funded by the Interreg MAC Program 2014-2020.
It’s a 12-month position (up to 3 years) in the field of Marine Invasions and will be carried out at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Azores, located at the Ponta Delgada Campus (S. Miguel, Azores). Monthly stipend is 1550€ plus voluntary social benefits.
Specifically, the grantee is expect to perform and be involved in: (i) biological sampling of microalgae, macroalgae and macroinvertebrates in the intertidal and adjacent submerged areas of the Azorean coastline (ii) development of in situ experimental work in coastal environments; (iii) development of experimental work in mesocosm environment; (iv) storage of biological material and elaboration of collections; (v) data processing and analyses; (vi) elaboration of technical reports and scientific publications; and (vii) project dissemination and promotion activities.
