Call for Graduation
Graduation sessions will be available on Studenti Online; date, time, place, and members of the Final Examination Board will be announced within 5 days of the date of the scheduled graduation date.
Dissertation
The discussion of the final examination and the graduation proclamation take place in person, according to the scheduled calendar.
The discussion of the final examination may take place remotely for:
- Students who are unable to travel due to force majeure (extreme weather events, riots, wars or invasions, governmental or regulatory actions, including strikes, terrorism or the imposition of an embargo), subject to the supervision of the Department Director and the Vice-Rector for Teaching;
- students who are serving prison sentences.
Those who find themselves in one of the conditions listed above may notify the contacts on this page by the deadline to upload their thesis for their relevant graduation session.
Graduating students may invite guests up to the number allowed by the legal capacity of the room, as indicated by the Chairperson of the Final Examination Board of the relevant session. It is always be possible to attend graduation examinations online, with no limitations to the number of online participants.
Photo and video recordings during graduation sessions
For their graduation sessions, students and PhD students of all university campuses can freely choose any professional or amateur photographer/video camera operator to record the event.
The photographer/video camera operator chosen by students and PhD students are among the guests of the graduation session and they must:
- carefully follow the general instructions of the respective university unit;
- perform his/her service without causing any disturbance to the graduation session and other academic activities, showing respect for other people.

Rules of conduct
Graduating students and guests are required to follow certain rules of conduct during graduation sessions:
- Arrive to the place designated in the call for graduation on time;
- Wait for their turn without disturbing other teaching activities;
- Do not stay in the indoor areas after proclamation;
- Any celebrations must take place exclusively outside the building; please avoid causing a nuisance and take care to maintain a sober behaviour, in keeping with the place.
It is strictly forbidden to soil inside and outside of buildings with food, drinks, confetti. Should any disturbance occur, the Chairperson of the Final Examination Board is authorised to suspend the session.
