These are occupational health and safety training courses required by Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008. The training is compulsory and consists of:
All students who during their university career carry out internships, prepare their final dissertation, or participate in activities in any sort of laboratory.
After matriculation, you will be provided all the information required to take part in the training.

To request recognition, verify validity, and - if applicable - obtain exoneration from an equivalent training module, please send your certificate to the address provided in the Contacts section.
Method: online: all registered students will receive the link to the meeting on MS Teams.
Duration: 4 hours
Who must enroll in the training: 1st year
Dates and times, registration: approximately between October/ November and January every year.
Students will be allocated on the dates established by the administrative offices, according to their assignment to the laboratory groups. The dates of the activities will be communicated in due time to ensure the proper organisation of the courses.
The available date is as follows:
Language: English - Italian
Final assessment test: 30 multiple choice questions (only one answer is correct) At the end of Module 3, you will be immediately able to sit the online test; the minimum score to pass the test is 21/30 (70% positive answer). If you fail the test, you will attend the training again.
Certification: Once the training is finished and the test passed with a score equal or greater than 21/30 (70% positive answer), you can download the certificate – in Italian or English – by logging into Studenti Online and going to the “Certificates and Self-certifications” page. ATTENTION: passing the test will not be the only requirement sufficient to issue the certificate, but it is also necessary to certify the presence of at least 90% of the 4 hours.
Validity: 5 years (ATTENTION: the expiry date is calculated from the date of issue of the certificate of the last training module followed. When the last module has expired, the update is necessary. Please contact the offices before the expiry date).
Other information: the course ends the full Health and Safety mandatory training (comprised of Module 1, 2 and 3) and is preparatory to the attendance of clerkships. This module refers to the specific risk of the medical field.

It will not be possible to freely choose the lesson date; instead, bookings for the next available lesson will open only after the previous one is full. Registrations will open in March 2026
