The University Service for Students with Disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) welcomes students with special needs. The service primarily supports students with disabilities during the transition into and out of university, as well as throughout their academic journey. Its main goal is to identify and plan the types of support each student needs to successfully complete their course of study.
The Service also collaborates with university departments and local organizations, believing that through strong networks of exchange and cooperation, meaningful progress can be made towards creating a more accessible university for all.
Over the years, collaborations have been established and strengthened with various departmental offices. Certain individuals have become important points of reference for the Service—and therefore for the students—as valuable and trusted collaborators.
Departmental Contacts (DIMEC)
Staff members within the department whom students with disabilities or specific learning disorders can contact for support.
These Contacts serve as more immediate points of reference for students and are familiar with the physical and organizational structures of the department. They act as effective bridges between students and the Service, as well as between students and the Degree Program, helping to overcome the challenges faced by students with disabilities or dyslexia. For the DIMEC Department(which includes the Degree Program in Medicine and Surgery):
