EAEVE - What it means to be accredited
Accreditation is the recognition of a journey we started several years ago, aimed at making the learning process more effective and transparent. After accreditation, DIMEVET’s main goal is its commitment to carrying out serious, structured work aimed at implementing the suggestions of the experts and strengthening the results obtained, making sure they spread beyond the department and into the daily tasks of its graduates.
In many years and for many organizations, the real problem of the certification process was what happened next, i.e. a lack of a control over the status of improvements. After certification, the tension the preparation process creates tends to disappear and that very certification is transformed into total absolution.
The accreditation mechanism, on the other hand, foresees the existence of a quality assurance system that does not allow for gaps and grey areas. The system is in fact made to identify weaknesses and work to improve them.
