What is an internship

The internship activity is an experience intended to complete your academic education with practical work at companies, public offices or structures within the University of Bologna.

Types of internships included in your Degree Programme

Internship for the preparation of the final examination (elective). It allows students to complete a scientific project at a research laboratory or at a Company/Organisation and to gain 12/15/27 University educational credits (CFU), depending on the selected activity. 

To obtain 1 CFU you must complete a minimum of 25 hours / a maximum of 30 hours of activity.

When can you apply

You can apply  for the internship for the preparation of the final examination upon agreeing with your thesis supervisor on the activity; then contact the internship office to change the study plan.
