End of the internship and registration of credits

Find how to register your internship credits

In compliance with all the instructions related to the end of an internship and the registration of the internship credits described in the Curricular Internship and Internship for final examination section  (What to do at the end of the internship) STEM student must follow the additional instructions listed below.

The registration of the credits of the internship activities for STEM students is done through enrolment to a call published on AlmaEsami by Ing. Alessandro Zambon cdl.ingegneriachimica-tirocini@unibo.it. Usually, calls are published one week before the deadline for the satisfaction of the requisites, as specified for every Final examination session. It is indeed possible to enrol in any available call on AlmaEsami as soon as the Internship has been completed.

The final report form differs whether the activity is carried out or not in continuity with the final examination and it is provided in the "Attachments" box on the right. The evaluation by the Internship Committee (the referent for STEM students is Ing. Alessandro Zambon cdl.ingegneriachimica-tirocini@unibo.it) is based, in the first instance, on the documents uploaded online. In case of inadequate reports, candidates could be contacted for an oral examination at the end of which a revision of the report could be requested. The professor proceeds to the registration within the following week and, in any case, within the deadline for the satisfaction of the graduation requisites.

Internship (internal or external in Italy) performed in continuity with the Internship for final examination

The following instructions apply to students enrolled starting from the academic year 2018/2019 who must close and register the internship credits of the activity 75385 - Internship (6 CFU) and of the activity 86296 - Internship for preparation for the final examination (12 CFU).

In order to simplify the bureaucratic procedure, it is recommended that the student proceeds with the closure of both the activities at the same time, at the final date of his stay at the host structure (= the student does not close the first activity after 6 weeks from its start, but proceeds with the closure of both activities at the end of the second one).

The student needs to fill in a different attendance register for each activity, showing the attendance at the host structure in the two periods of time (distinct and subsequent) specified initially. It is possible to present one single internship report, which must be drawn up according to the form for internship in continuity with the final examination. However, the same report must be entered twice on the Internship Application, in correspondence of each one of the activities.
