HEMAP prepares students for staff and executive positions in organizations and institutions involved in health care provision. A key to hold down a steady job in this sector is awareness of the societal relevance of health care and the implied constraints imposed by regulation and the law. Thus the programme aims to develop skills and expertise in the field of health economics and policy, health care management, health law and regulations.
I personally felt that the professors had a vested interest in our success as evidenced by the different meetings that were organised that allowed students to meet potential employers and the different internship opportunities that were made available.
