FAQ

  • Can my study plan be modified?

Yes, your study plan can always be modified even after the first time during the time window that you can find at the link above.

  • How do the elective courses I choose  weigh on my average grade?

Elective courses have the same weight as compulsory courses towards your final grade.

  • How many exams do I have to choose? How many can I choose?

The curricula we offer all have a similar structure organized in groups of exams which can be compulsory, semi-elective or elective.

In semi-elective groups you are required to choose a fixed number of exams among those offered (for example, in group 1A of the Generale and Advanced curricula you have to choose 1 exam out of the 3 offered).

Elective groups allow you to choose courses from all lists of the two years of all curricula (for example if you are a Generale curriculum student you can add courses from the Didattico or Advanced curriculum.) In addition to that you can add elective courses from our Bachelor's Degree, provided that you haven't already added them in previous Degrees.

In addition to that, you can choose 18 CFUs from all the exams active at the University. This is a lower limit, you are free to get more than 18 CFUs. Also, you can add here other courses from the curricula of this Degree.

  • Which courses can I choose from other Degrees?

Your choice of exams will be evaluated by the Degree Program Board to ensure consistency with the training project. The only restrictions you have when choosing to take courses from other Degrees are:

1) you can't choose a module of courses that are made of more than a module, you are required to take the course as a whole.

2) you can't choose Mathematics courses from other Degrees whose contents are basic and already studied in your career.
